Wolfgang Devine was born in Gaithersburg, MD in 1992. Throughout his childhood, he built all sorts of things from furniture to props to toys. In high school, he explored photography and built stage sets for 12 productions in the school’s 2000 person theater before earning a BID in Industrial Design from the Pratt Institute in 2014. He spent 10 years managing large-scale public artwork projects across the globe for artists including Olafur Eliasson and Joe O’Connell while developing and showing his own creative work. Now a full-time artist, he creates in a variety of media from his studio in Bend, OR.
